Custom application integration with MSS Team viewer

Hi

We have MSS running on portal NW7 environment(upgraded from 2004). In NW 2004, We had a custom WD java application (as local project, no nwdi set up) which was taking selected employee details from cookies when employee was selected in mss team viewer. Considering the fact that cookies are no longer supported in NW7(let us know if there is a work around), I look for a solution of integrating my local WD application with MSS team viewer application.

Eventing can be set up but how can we get the selected employee detail in local custom application.

I hope we can use the session to hold the selected employee. When u select the employee in Team Viewer iView we need to put the value in session and that we can take in custom application.
