Hello Palani,

I agree... It depends on the business requirement. For instance, there are cases where organizations don't want to take too much pain in maintaining the infra so they opt for Transaction iViews directly opening up the transaction code in SAP GUI. In such cases SAPGUI is also installed in Users PCs!

disadvantages highly depend on your business case. Why, where and what do you want to do with the SAP transaction iView? Depending on your requirement, you (and we, the forum) can help you define possible disadvantages.

One, for instance, could be: Customization of the Design (CSS).

Hi,

1.) SAP Transaction iViews in WebGui mode run the named transaction through the webgui ITS service.

2.) If so, that service is kind of big and complex when you look at it in SE80.

3.) I assume that the webgui service is just a bigger, more complex service that can render any transaction.
