SAP_SERVICESID_PWD phase in Java PREPARE - SAPServiceSID issue

Dear All,

I am working on Dual Stack (SAP CRM 5.0 to SAP CRM 7.0) upgrade on Windows 2003 with MSSQL 2005 SP3.

Whlie ABAP upgrade is running parallel, I am getting an error message 'No info available' in SAP_SERVICESID_PWD phase of Java PREPARE.

Here is the screenshot: [SAPServiceCRP|http://picfront.de/d/aj7ML8nG/SAPServiceCRP.JPG]

While refering the logs I found two logs as following:

NET_VALIDATE_15.ERR

System error 67 has occured.

The network name cannot be found.

and second log:

NET_FINDFREEDRIVELETTER_15.ERR

The network connection could not be found.

More help is available by typing NET HELPMSG 2250

OS/Sys admin says things look ok from Network side. Not sure what could be wrong and where.

Please provide any ideas that you might have and any possible help.

I very much appreciate your time and input.

Thank you,

Shival

Adding the screen asking for SAPServiceSID password, right before the error occures:

      Hello,

This issue just got resolved with a fix provided by SAP on using Host name instead of IP address in the background processing for this phase.

Thought of letting you all know. This thread can be closed now.

      Thanks,

      Shival

      Hi All,

The support supplied a 'Fixed sdt_j2ee.jar' which I used during the upgrade. The landscape was vmware based and the server had three ip addresses associated it with some priorities to use them. These ip addresses related conflict was removed by using the Fixed sdt_j2ee.jar that had the revised coding. This revised coding was using/looking for the hostname of the server instead of ip address.

Here is the SAP OSS message number in case if you have access: 0000733998 2009

      Best Regards,

      Shival
