RE-PM Integration

Dear sirs

We are trying to make RE (classical) and PM to communicate.

Setting parameter "PM installed" in RE customizing, we can assign to a rental unit a series of functional locations, from which we can select the right one if we need to start a PM notification from the rental unit management transaction.

If we analyze a such created PM notification, in no place I can see the rental unit code (it should be useful for technical staff).

Is there any customizing, setting, etc, to make it possible? Or the only way is to activate a user-exit to transport it in PM notification?

I tried your suggestion but unfortunely it doesn't help.

It seems to me like system isn't able to capture rental unit code and to transfer it to the notification.

There is the fact that in QMEL definition there is not the place for rental unit, but in this way it's not very useful for us to link REM and PM (we need a relation m:n between renta unit and functional location).

In the following step, that is creating a maintenance order from notification, rental unit is one of the possibilities of "assignments" (real estate object): also if our notification is coming from rental unit management, rental unit code should be inserted manually...

So the doubt is between two things: customizing is wrong and/or this kind of communication/data transfer is not possible.

Another thing I noticed, if it can help, is that insert/update operations on table VIOB39, that contains link between rental unit and functional location, are not registered in CDHDR/CDPOS tables (why?)
