Same answer as your VA03 question. You group them, except here you would use a different object and would only need one.
Cheers,
Julius

Directing a question exclusively to one forum member is an insult to all the others. Besides that, I am not an SAP support employee.
Julius already gave the correct answer. The 'how to' can be found in SAPhelp as this is SAP standard functionality.

I think Priyank mistook me for you as I mentioned "my answer to your other thread" which was possibly not read yet, and both our names start with "Juxxxx".
Perhaps it would indeed be easier if we used "Heeck" from now on...

Julius

Hadn't thought of that. But still, I prefer open discussions where everyone can chip in.

What do you mean by "from now on"? And why should I be the victim here, explain that, Bussche!
Cheers!

Hi, first of all you should use SU01D to allow other users to display the user record. My rule of thumb is to always use the designated display transaction whenever possible. We do not hand out VA01 for anyone to view sales orders. They are to be using VA03. Same here with SU01D.
Then it is as Julius says. You need to group users in user groups and then allow the users to only display the user groups they are intended to be viewing.

How is it not helpful?
Everything you need to implement display of selected users has been covered in this post.

I am very sad. I think I am going to cry...
Possibly FM BAPI_USER_GET_DETAIL is what you are looking for? That should do the trick, but it's not SU01.
