Hi Gurus,
In quality system we are facing a strange problem.Recently we refreshed our QAS with PRD database.
After importing the transport requests in QAS, the changes are not reflecting. If we check in the tables the changes are reflecting .But the views and the buffers are not getting updated.
If we run /$TAB or /$SYNC the changes are reflecting immediately.
I have updated R3trans and tp level to latest release. IT worked only 2 days and again this is creating problem.Until I give /$TAB the changes are not refrelcted...
The SAP version is SAP 4.7 EE
Oracle 9.2.0.6
When I check the buffers in ST02 the free directories in table definition buffers is showing as 0
Please help on this...
Thanks,
jagadish
Thanks to all for the help provided during the issue.
The problem got solved after truncating the table by stopping sap and starting it again.

Hi,
Just a hunch... did you empty (truncate) table DDLOG after the refresh and before bringing up the system? I don't know whether leaving old stuff in DDLOG can cause this problem but it's something I would certainly check.
What does transaction AL12 tell you?
Rgds,
Mark

Hi Mark,
It seems i got some light on the issue.....I have gone thru AL12..the DDLOG records doesn't help me much but AL12 ->statistics->
Sync ->status info.. i m getting the below error...
Last synchronised number: -2.147.359.467
Buffer synchronisation doesn't work.
New sequence number: -2.147.360.701
I am not able to pick relevant note for the error..the parameter seem to be fine in the system..
So how to resolve this error????
Thanks much,
Jagadish
can you check if the affected table is buffered? (SE11 - technical settings)

Not only for one table..whatever table changes coming with the transport..After importing the changes are updated in table...in table level the changes are reflecting.....not in the buffers.
One mor eexample.. If i have created a new role and i have transported into QAS..if i goto PFCG an display ..it will say like role does not exist..
If i run /$tab or /$sync and if i give the same in PFCG then i can see the new role..
