Masthead customization in portal 7.5

Hello All,

We have recently upgrades our portal from 7.3 to 7.5.

We have created custom masthead in portal 7.3 and the same is not working in portal 7.5.

Please guide me how to get it resolved and also please let me know where can i download required jar files.

In portal 7.3 :
I have imported standard masthead file from server and i did the modifications in NWDS to display date and time before the logoff link.
Same is not supported in portal 7.5(we have only masthead.jsp file in standard masthead file)

Portal 7.5 :
Here we have 4 jsp files and there are lot of dependencies are required as JAR's.
i have just downloaded standard masthead file and i am trying to deploying the same and it was unsuccessful.(i have only few of the jar's and i can't get remaining jars)

Please let me know where can i get all the JAR's required to deploy the masthead file from eclipse(Portal 7.5 is with eclipse).

Hi Fayaz,

In what way is the masthead no longer working? Do you mean you created a custom Framework Page also?

You can convert older "legacy" themes quite easily via the System Admin -> Transport -> Transport Legacy Themes option. The themeing engine will convert the legacy theme to the LESS format. changes to Masthead styles can then be made via the UI Theme Designer.

Also do check SAP KBA: 2368405 if you expierience issues with layout of your custom theme under LESS mode.
