SAP B1 Worklfow - Service Manager

Hi Experts,

Under B1 Service Manager - Workflow service, all the buttons are grayed out and not available to click. I can't use settings button.

Any idea?

Just found sap note 2633783 - Workflow Service Is Not Initialized. It says

If you have a very simple SAP Business One database password, workflow service cannot be initialized. You can find the below error in the log file: C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\SAP Business One ServerTools\Workflow\TomcatConfig\logs\b1workflow-stdout.XXX.log

Internal Exception: javax.crypto.IllegalBlockSizeException: Input length must be multiple of 8 when decrypting with padded cipher

and the Workaround: is

Change the database password and reinstall the SAP Business One SLD and workflow.

I think that is normal behavior. My machine is upgraded from SBO 9.1 to 9.2 to 9.3. Most of the configuration I do it from SLD now. I enter directly by https://localhost:60000/workflow/ on my server and configure everything.

In older versions, the configuration was in Service Manager, but is no longer the case.

Firstly thank you for your answer. It has worked.

But now I can't access to the server from https://localhost:60000/workflow/. When I selected the server(FINCH) it didn't connected.

How I can connect it any idea.

What happens when you press restart? Are the windows services started as shown next?

Hello Hector,

When I selected the FINCH in SAP Business One Server program try to connect it isn't connect. Also when i press restart there is a message box saying;

"Restarting the workflow service could take a short while. Do you want to continue?"

I choose yes, but again nothing changes.

Also I checked the services and restarted them they seem running.

What user is used on starting this service?

Hello Hector,

The user was administrator.

Also I checked the service from another pc, it was working in there. But that version was SBO 9.2 PL8.

So can it be about version?

Hello Hector,

Thank you for your helps. I have solved my problem, changed the db password and reinstall SBO. Can you write it again as an answer so that way if anybody need it he/she can see the answer on the top.
