Can we fire a mail to the partner maintained in the tab Assignment in the Notification ?
If yes, let me know the settings reqd. for the same.

Yes. But can you please specify if you want to shoot a mail as a result of a business transaction? (like a mail when PO is changed) I mean can you elaborate your scenario?
