Period Interval Method Depreciation Calculation

Dear all

Can someone please explain what is the period interval method of depreciation . We are using the straight line depreciation , and when we check the ordinary depreciation in the planned values it takes us to the period interval method calcuation .


There is a Prd Fact . and Percentage . How are these two values calculated ?

    Period factor is calculated by dividing the number of days in column To Period by 365 days. For example if you have a To Period 149 then the Period Factor will be 0.40822 after dividing it by 365.
