BPC standard model to delete and reload only ERP data

We are using BPC standard model. The BPC cube includes ECC data and EPM Add-in/ Web Input data. There was an error that cause ECC data in BW Cube incorrect and we need to correct the infocube for ERP as well as BPC infocube. ERP data cube is loaded into BPC by Delta Initialization. Our consultant suggest to delete all data in BPC cube and reload again. If we do so, we would loose change logs which we don't want. Could you please advise whether we have better approach for this situation?

I see that BPC includes all data change both from BW and EPM addin in 1 request. I cannot simply delete requests from BW/ERP.

Why do you need to delete requests? You can close all requests using Lite Optimize DM package and the delete data using DM Clear package.

You have to import deleted data and then initialize delta again.

Test the process in the test copy of environment.

Is that BPC cube consists only ERP data? If yes, I do not see much problem to delete and reload.

If the cube consists of planning/consolidation data, then the deletion should be done in a precise way without deleting user data.

Could you please describe more how we can archive reload without deleting user data?

When checking the data in the BPC cube, there are some request include both ERP and User data. I cannot just simply delete request by request.

Hi Dau Hai, please treat my answer as a suggestion. I do not have clarity of what planning configuration is done in that BPC cube. Your consultant is the best person to do impact analysis on existing setup.
