System should not allow to enter Multiple service lines at ML81N screen

Dear SAP Guru,

I have checked all SAP blogs and ML81 screen selection customizing but I did not find the answer.

We need to restrict multiple service line selection in ML81N screen.

system should allow only one service line in ML81n screen.It should not allow to enter line 20, 30 ect,,

Please find the attached screen. Kindly help me to resolve my query.

I haven't done anything like your exact requirement, but something similar was checking the behaviour through UserExit "EXIT_SAPLMLSR_001" ("ZXMLUU18") and / or EnhancementSpot "ES_SAPLMLSR" in Include "LMLSRF6R".

If you can determine the actual number of positions, you can Prevent the creation of another Position ...

When I did some Enhancements there, I made sure any Messages were only raised when GUI was used, maybe a valid point when other Automatic Processes are running that affect SES (use of BAPI's etc.) ...

But again, you could check in UserExit "ZXMLUU18" the number of Active Positions ... When your Limit is reached, Set a Blocking (Error-) Message ...
