Short quantity at Goods receipt

Hi

The goods receipt is prepared in SAP system and then the qty is verified .

How can the differences be posted in SAP?

ie if the qty is less then without cancellation of GR how can the difference be posted.

HI,

Receive the material thro 103 in GR blocked stk, the inventory will not be reflected in the system.Then count the stock & post the

correct qty.

normally for loss or gain posting if it has to be accounted in system new movement types are created to post the same.
