Hello,

We can do budgeting at project level.... we can set warning,Error at some percentage of usage

The Question is

Can we restrict cost booking for particularly Time, Soft Disbursement ,Hard Disbursement etc

Is there any standard way to do it or any alternative

Thanks for your response.

Actually my requirement is diffrent, what you are talking abt is to restrict Cost at WBS Level( Through Operative indicator).

But the Requirement is ,Say Time Entry Can i have Some buget set sepretly for Time Booking of employee.

and Same for Disbursement (Seperate budgeting)

Dear Shailesh,

If you have separate budget for Time Entry thing of the employees why dont you treat it as a separate WBS element?To make things streamlined you can have this Time Entry WBS element under the main WBSE so that the checks can be made and maintained.

Shailesh,

For your requirement you can use WBS Element status as AALK - Acct Assignment Locked

Menu Path in WBS Element screen is: Edit --> Status --> Lock --> Account Assignment

On such Status of WBSE no further commit can be possible.

You can Unlock whenever you wants. You also get all change document for status Change,

i could not find activity group 05 in tolernce setting

Cost booking for time confirmation can be done through selecting activity group 05 in tolerance setting.
