Triggering Events in Standard Task

Dear All,

I have a Standard Task with two Triggering Events. Both are active and transported to Quality System.

The first time I activated these events in Development System, it asked for a Customizing Transport req.

In Qauality System, I am able to Activate and Deactivate these events without any problem.

My question is, will I be able to Activate and Deactivate these events in Production System also if I have auth for Tcode PFTC?

Hi ,

try to change it manually in Prod as you have done in quality, check whether you are able to actiavte, if you can then immediately chage it to the orginal status.

Hi ,

Actually in Quality and production we will be having access only for displaying , but normally we can not activate or deactivate,

it has be moved from dev to quality and to production using transport request.

Hi,

I do not have change auth in Quality. But it still allow me to Activate or Deactivate the Events.

I think someone will surely have a display auth in Prodution system also. Does it mean that, the person who has this display auth will aslo be able to Activate or Deactivate in Production???

Yes, you can activate the events if it is in deactivated state. When transport requests corresponding to your task/workflow are moved from Dev,Qual,Prod, the workflow/Task might not move completely resulting in inactive EVENT in the workflow.

For this either u can directly activate it in the display mode, or u can re-transport the transport requests corresponding to the workflow/Task.It will work.

Hi Jinson,

If you have authorisation for that you will be able to activate and Deactivate these events in Production System also.
