CRM Activity Problem

I CREATED A CRM MEETING WITH NO ACCOUNT. I AM ABLE TO CREATE BUT WHEN I LOG OFF AND LOG BACK ON ACTIVITY IS NO LONGER EXIST IN THE WORKLIST OR ACTIVITY SEARCH. BUT THEN I SEE A PRIVATE MEETING ON THE CALENDAR. THIS DOESN'T SEEM CORRECT. Please explain....Priya

Hello,

Basic definitions::

Activity --> interaction between employees or external partners i.e Activities can include appointments, interaction logs and tasks, for example, telephone calls, customer visits, general preparatory tasks, or private reminders.

Tasks --> when you want to create an activity that is not linked to a business partner, other than the employee responsible.

based on this,

you are creating an activity with out account, which means its a private.
