Problem in NWDI installation with SUM

Hello experts,

I am trying to install NWDI with SUM but I failed until now.

I started with note 2558353 and downloaded the 4 sca that match my NetWeaver version.

I used a manually prepared directory in SUM and put all the 4 files in it.

When I arrived to the "select Component" step, they are all rejected for the same reason :

Rejected due to following reason(s): • 004 : Component sap.com/DI_CBS cannot be installed. • 005 : Components sap.com/DI_CBS is part of SAP stack definition file.

I did not manage to fine a more up-to-date note on NWDI installation that the one i tried to use, so I am a bit lost about the next steps. Any recommandation ?

Hello Perrine,

From NWDI perspective I can add two points here:

1, You can try to apply the SAP Note ##1641062 - Single component update and patch scenarios in SUM. This means that you need to use a stack XML file generated with Maintenance Planner.

OR

2, You can deploy those 4 SCA via Telnet.
