Auto-Refresh Option in Webintelligence

Hello BI Platform Gurus,

I am working on a SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.2 Support Pack 2

I am building Web-Intelligence reports on top of BEx Queries.

A report has a table with some dimensions and measures and a filter bar with some additional dimensions.

For certain measures, when the user selects a filter, then the measure displays the #TOREFRESH error. Causing the user to have to refresh the report every time they applied a filter. Very unfriendly.

I remember in the past, this was solved by ticking a box in the Document Properties called: Auto Refresh

By some reason this option is not visible anymore in 4.2 SP2

Does anyone know if there is a different way to enable Auto Refresh?

Hello,

I don't think this is issue of 4.2 SP2 version. I am working on 4.1 SP5 and still get same issue.

With BICs connection (i.e. Bex Queries) we offen face this issue as CKF's are being calculated in Bex and as we change any dimension or add any Filter CKF's need to calculate again. For this BO gives #TOREFRESH error asking user to Refresh the report to get CKF's.

Please try to check behaviour with KF's and CKF's in report.
