Hi experts,

we have implemented SRM extended classic scenario sucessfully, and now we are going to implement the vendor portal system( SUS) on other client. we are on SRM 702 so we activated the Pi independent business functions . when i tried to activate the consumer proxy in soamanager, we are getting the error message "Initialization of proxy 'CO_BBPX_TRADING_PARTNERSUS_OUT' failed: Web service object does not exist.

Please suggest.

Regards,

Vinod

Hello Vinod,

PI-Independent Enterprise Services can be used only for connecting SRM to an ECC system. For SUS a PI system is always mandatory. You will not be able to activate any consumer proxys in soamanager for the SUS process.

Dear Zolton,

Thank you for your quick reply.

we want to push only Po to show to the vendor. As per Document "SAP Enhancement Package 2 for SAP Supplier Relationship Management 7.0:" SRM, PI-Independent Enterprise Services business function is available in our system. As per document we tried to configure the SOAMANAGER in SRM( consumer system) and SUS ( provider system) client.

Due to the extended classic scenario we didn't use Pi system to connect ECC and SRM systems. Due to small business process we don't want to go with PI system to connect SRM and SUS .

when i tried to activate the consumer proxy in soamanager, we are getting the error message "Initialization of proxy 'CO_BBPX_TRADING_PARTNERSUS_OUT' failed: Web service object does not exist.

Hello Vinod,

for the communication between SUS and SRM PI is required. Also please keep in mind that with ECS scenario the document types confirmation and invoice are not supported on SUS side.
