Experts,
I have a scenario where service orders are created automatically form a service contract. The same service order can also be created manually.
Org determination in service contract is based on the Sold-to-party.
Org determination in service order is based on the ship-to- party.
When service order are manually created - org data is determined based on ship-to-party -
But when automatically created form Service contract the Org data is copied from Service contract.
Or how can I redetermine the org data in the service order??????????
Thanks and Regards,
Ram
Hi experts
my problem is that whatever data we created in one transaction is should be reflecated automatically in next transaction so i no need to fill the data manually like copy Service Order data to Service Confirmation. so whatever data is reflected in service order this data should be automatically copy in service confirmation like BP,org etc. how can i achieve this one plzz tell me all steps
thanx

Hi Ram,
I red this thread and i am also facing similar kind of issue related to orgman
In the crm_copy_badi i am receiving copied data of sales order and i need to create change order for that as follow up ,When i am chaning the attribute Distribution channel in the CS_orgman going forward it is giving me dump
can you provide input on this
Hi Ram,
Can you mention the Channel through which this is done ? For example ( WebClient UI, PC UI or through the SAP GUI )?
If you are trying to create the same using the above channels, then I think that for the service order transaction type the Organization customization if missing. You need to configure the Organization Data Determination Customization for the Service Order Trans. Type.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Samantak

Thanks for the reply guys,
The service order is determining the Org data as expected using the Org data profile and parter function for org values assigned to the the transaction type. This is working as assigned for manually created service orders. This is not the problem.
But when the same service order is automatically created from a Service contract -- Org data is copied form Service contract.
I want it to be determined as it happens when they are created manually.
Any thoughts...
Thank you
Ram
Hi Ram,
If the service order determined as a follow-up of service contract, then by default Org data will be copied. This is the standard functionality, in order to avoid, issues in internal orders.
But, you have the option of editing this org data. You can change it if you want. Remember, in this case, the costs will not be updated to same internal order.

Krishna
thanks for the Reply
Is there a BADI that can be used to re-determine the Org data after copying.
Yes It can be manually changed but I would like to change it automatically determined again in service order.
I need to change the service org....IS there any thing else that would be effected apart form pricing
Thank you
Hi Ram,
We had a scenario in SAP CRM Service, where we need to copy Service Order data to Service Confirmation. We also had copy control in place.
We have used the CRM One Order API, CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN to achieve the functionality.
You can have a look at the above function module. it will take care of your maintained customizations.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Samantak.
Hello Ram,
For transaction type Service Order,is there an Org Data Profile assigned in SPRO?
IMG>CRM>Transactions>Basic Settings>Define Txn: Types and double click on the txn type corresponding to the service order.
If to this service order txn type if Org Data Profile assigned ,then org redermination is not happening?
