Hello All,

I have created a new track in the CMS. In this track I want the same development components as created with SNDS in an other track. These tracks has nothing to do with each other, so if something changes in the old track, I don't want have this change the newly created track.

How can I achieve this?

The newly created track is not a new version of the old track.

Patrick,

You can forward manually any approved software component with your development components towards the new track.

If you do not create any "track connections", the sources of the development components are independently changeable.

When the 2 tracks have the same runtime systems, be aware of overwriting functionality on those systems as the components have the same names etc.

If you want to move your development components to another software component in the new track, you have to do that manually in NWDS by copying the source code.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Alain

Patrick,

Read my post in . I described there the H2.

This will not be a MOVE, but a COPY as you wanted.

Alain

Hi Patrick,

All SCA's you approved in the old track should be "forwardable" to the new track.

Make sure all these SCA's are also defined in the new track using the Landscaoe Configurator, tab "Track Data". It is allowed to have them defined as a dependency of your developed SCA.

It works in my case.
