I have a requirement from our GxP compliance group to set up a specific class and characteristics for keep track of audit information. The finance group wants compliance to only be allowed to update the characteristics. We have been trying to set up a new security role for this, but cannot seem to restrict their access to all the other tabs. Has anyone run across this? And how did you manage? Any words of wisdom. At some point we will need to develop a custom program to handle all their requirements, but were trying to give them a "quick fix" to their basic needs. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I think your requirement can be fulfilled by BASIS team through authorization management, please share the same with Basis guy and he will help you to fulfill the requirement.
