Customer specific Inspection plan

Dear Gurus,

My client has 26 different customers,the inspection characteristics maintained in the inspection plan are the same for almost all customers but one customer there is slight difference.

My client wants when an order is created for that particular customer.it should pick only those vaules which are required by that customer.

Example;

MICs are Si,Fe and Ti in the inspection plan.

Si = <=0.5

Fe=<=0.6

Ti=<=98.9

but for one particular customer the Fe value is 1 so the client want when an order comes for this customer.inspection plan with fe values of 1 should be picked up.

Please help to map this secanrio.

There is one more solution if you are working on ECC 6.0 then you can make use of multiple specification

Dear Ansar

The steps are same. Please try this and let me know your feedback

1) create one inspection plan with material assignment to the customer

2) Go to characterisitic and select the mic and click on dependent characteristic and maintain the inspection specification

now check by creating inspection lot for this customer and another customer

There is a functionality called as Dependent characteristic wherein you can give customer related specification.
