standard price release

Dear All,

One question for which i seek the answer from you guys is that while releasing the standard price for semi finished and finished goods, how can we stop the users to make the transactions for any particular material even after the releasing the

the standard price for that material, considering material ledger scenerio.

Quick answer would be appreciable.

Hi Ashok,

your question is not formulated very clear. Since you mention material ledger, I assume you speak of the problem that you have a cost estimate done but not yet released, and want to make sure that the materials are not moved until the cost estimate is released, because otherwise you miss the opportunity to release it for the rest of the period.

For that challenge SAP provides the possibility of the 'dynamic price release'. That means, the first movement after the marking date will perform the release during the goods movement, already using the new standard price for the postings of the goods movements.
