hi,

Regarding question one, Go to metadata repository under cubes, select your cube, on the right hand pane, you can find the where used list.

under queries you can find what all queries it is used in.

For question 2, you cannot copy the query on to another cube.

You need to rebuild a query.

Hope this helps.

Hi M.S,

Yes, RSZC is used to copy the quer across infoproviders provided the structure is same.

Till now i am unaware of this and got the information after checking back through some other posts in SDN.

No.. It will say target cube not compatible with the source...

However you can try it once in RSZC... Because I think if the target has all the infoobjects that are there in the source and has some additional ones too, it should not give any error...

hi,

To know number of queries on a Info provider:

Goto Se11, table--> RSRREPDIR, give the name of the info provider and version as "A"(active) and execute. Will give you the technical name and description of the queries and also you can check number of entires ie will give no. of queries on that info provider.

Through transaction RSZC You can copy a query based on one info provider to other info provider only when the target info provider is having all the elements same as the source info provider, the system messages will let you know .

The total number of queries can be found out in QUery Designer...

Just open the query designer and click on query -> Open and click on find, find the infoprovider and you will see all the queries beneath it...

Tcode to copy queries is RSZC...
