Is it possible to define Contact Person functions without SAP Retail?

Hi experts!!

I would like to define some Contact Person functions in order to create contact persons for vendor in the system.

In the SAP help at that customizing point is indicated that SAP Retail is needed for that.

Is it rigth ?

Hello

I definded several times contacts person on my vendor master record, without activating the retail.

In customizing, you have to define departments and functions, if you don't want to use the standard.
