Hi Joris

From SE38 run a report RSORADJV. Run in dialog, it will provide you a box to write SQL statements.

run " select username from dba_users;" and execute.

Joris

can you try to check from ...

Hi,

Thanks fo rthe 3 answers. It is much appreciated.

System status--->Owner for database

Works! gives me user: DV3

Sm50-->WP trace

Does work in ORACLE system, in MS system it does not provide a OS user

St04--->Detail Analysis -.V$ views->V$ACCESS

Works only in Oracle i think. in my MS system i get a different set of screens.

I have been going through this ST04 screens, but no decisive answer found yet.

Thanks again for the help. If you have any other clues, please let me know

Joris

Can you tell us what do you want to "check"?

Usually the user running the system on Windows is SAPService<SID>, the administrative user is <SID>adm.
