Reg ECM in BOM

Dear all,

I have created a change number in CC01 with object type as BOM and in the initial screen given status as active and valid from date as today , we got a change number , when assigning the same change number in CS02 we are getting error as give valid from date when I am giving todays date it is not accepting.

can you please guide

Madhav,

while creating change number in the object type list while putting tick for object also select ( put tick for ) object , and management record. allfirst three columns .

after creating change number , use CS02 give your newly created change number dont give any dates , so system will copy the valid from date from change number.

Check it out and revert back

Hi,

After creating the the change number with object type BOM add the particular BOM in the change number under OBJECTs fuction.After that try to change the bom object which you are doing changes.At the time of change the system will autometically change the valid from date to the date maintained in change master.
