MB5B WITH MOVEMENT TYPE

Hi,

When I am executing report for selected movement types , system giving me message as below " Movment type is reset"

If there is a way for executing MB5B report for selected movement types, which shoud give me the correct receipts and issue details. please suggest.???

The blw is the warning msge text::

If there are restrictions acc. to movement type, results may be incorrect Message no. M7391

Diagnosis

You have restricted the document selection by movement type.

Report MB5B determines the stocks and values using the material documents, and refers to the current stocks and values.

Restrictions by movement type force the system to only select material documents with the required movement types. However, if the selection does not return all documents, this can lead to incorrect information concerning the stocks and values at the start and end date.

Procedure

A restriction by movement type if only useful for displaying totals of receipts and issues within a specific time interval.

Hi raju

Go to omjj and then check the mvt in mainatined in the tab called Allowed transactions or not. If it is not maintained then plz maintain it and then check once again

Can use mb51 for the same ( total receipts and total issues).

my issue is when i excute MB5B with sto loc/ batch seletion in stock type (w/o giveing any move type ) its giving for ex the total recipt is 1500 kg which came thru 101 move type 1000 kg and 500 kg thru 311..ok

in aonther screen i'm runing same mb5b tcode with move type311selection option... where i 'm not geting the abv 500 kg details??? this is my issue.. look for corrct inputs.. why its not updated here???

Check whether u have input 311 or 101. because i also tried doing the same thing. for a material XYZ execute the report with no date and movement type selection so it gave me opening 0 , total recipts 100 ( 80 of 101 and 20 of 311) , issue of 20 ( 311 -ve entry) and closing stk 80.

when i entered 311 in selection the opening became 80 ( of 101 ) then total receipts 20 , total issues 20 and closing 80.

sp when u run mb5b for specific movement the openeing become the total stock for all movement leaving that movement which u have entered in selection.

so the message is given by sap . try out this. and also check ur input.

I found that some of the materials are not assigned to val category... so this triggers one part of the error.. and another side, when we do HU02, its not updating in MB5B with mov type tracking report. if any has answer, pls suggest
