exclude storage location while run MRP at plant level

We have set the Flag as "1" exclude stocks for a staorage location plant wise using TCODE OMIR.

But system stll considering the Stocks even after setting the flag as "1".

May you please let me know that Is there any other configuration , that has to be checked into system. So that once we set the flag then stocks must not be considered while runnning MRP to calculate the Shoratges / exact requirement of quantity to be procuered.

We would also want to create at checking rule for Purchase Order. Presently our system is having the checking rule for production Order and the same is configuered for Purchase Order.

Use T code MMSC to exclude the storage location stock from MRP with indicator 1 as in OMIR,you have to maintain in both t codes

Hope it will works for u

Once it will be maintained , and if in future we want to include , then again we have to remove the Flag.

you need to change the stor loca mrp indicator in mmsc , when u include this stor location in mrp in palt level.

from option 1 to null.

when you extend a storage location thru T code MMSC then system will allow you to delete it.but when you extend the material by MM01 then while excluding the storage location stock from mrp run marking indicator 1 then it cant be reversed as it will greyed out.

Plz check at your end
