Slow report execution because of Workprocess Timeout

Hi experts,

My sd consultant wants to execute sales report by executing Tx ZSD006. Report takes too much time and execution fails with Abap Dump suggesting to increase of time for parameter rdisp/max_wprun_time. Currently this parameter is set to 600.

weather i should increase its value upto 1000 or should i execute this report in background. I am afraid of increasing it as system may get slow because of it.

Hi Vaibhav,

Best to run in background - if possible.

Unless change the value of the parameter rdisp/max_wprun_time in rz11 and when the transaction finishes set it back to 600.

running in the background will take the same resource as dialog and make your sustem slow also.

HI,

the problem got solved when i have increse the value of rdisp/max_wprun_time . I have tried first scheduling it in background, it even got executed successfully but sd guy didnt like the pattern of it . so it solved by changung dynamic parameter.
