DayNumberOfWeek(CurrentDate()) giving incorrect results

I'm using

DayNumberOfWeek(CurrentDate()) function . As per documentation the function would return 1 if current day is Monday. But I'm using this function on Thursday(9/13/2018) and it's returning 5 instead of 4. Please suggest

Hi, you should check your calendar locale settings in Windows. Most probably, your settings define Sunday as the first day of the week.

I updated my local calendar setting to be first day as Monday. But after this change, I tried to print CurrentDate() it is returning 9/14/2018,Where as it is still 9/13/2018 today( Thursday ) . I am located CST.

Hi, you're welcome. You must have something wrong in your Windows Time & Date settings.

As this is an issue than concerns MS Excel and your Windows Time & Date Setting and has nothing to do with SAP Dashboards, I suggest you seek on the Microsoft forums.
