Asset class level scrap value

Hi SAP GURUS,

I want to set 5% scrap value at asset class level so that dep should get calculated accordingly. Where i need to configuer that.

I dont want to set the scrap value by user while creating the asset. It should be done at the asset class level. So doing it at each asset level is not a option for me. How can i do this

Hi,

Please try to do the following;

1. Define your own cut-off value key or scrap value key vide T.Code ANHAL.

Specify whether the cut-off value/scrap value should be deducted from the base value for depreciation at the start of depreciation calculation, or if depreciation should stop when the scrap value is reached.

Specify the start of calculation of the validity time periods.

Define the validity periods and the percentage rates for the cut-off value/scrap value.

2. Enter your cut-off value key in the definitions of the depreciation keys concerned. vide T.Code AFAMA.
