Difference between Enhacement Packs and Hot Package Stacks

Hi all,

Could someone just help me clear a few things up. Could you tell me the difference between Enhancement packs and Hot Package stacks. Also for example I am on Solution Manager 7.0 and on the latest patch level, should I move on to Enhancement pack 1 for this? The same applies for ERP 6, meaning is the recommended route to take like keeping up to date with hot packages to move to the latest enhancement packs?

Also is this done in the same way as importing a new component version using SAINT and SPAM or are enhacement packs done differently, any information to help make this clear is appreciated.
