stock deficit in ecc

hi all,

GI is done in ewm.

But in ecc it is in status A, i found queue in smq2.

Reason for queue stuck is stock deficit for the product.

How can we let this queue to pass into ecc.

Kindly help me to resolve this issue.

...if nothing helps:

- increase stock in EWM by delta qty X (e.g. with inventory count)

- let the pending queue pass

- decrease stock in EWM by qty X again

- delete the error queue (which will come for sure as EWM had higher qty than ECC

- run stockcheck report to be in sync

Of course, as mentioned before, you should figure out the reason at first (but sometimes the described approach is the only solution...).

Hi Ankit,

There is no easy answer to this question. You simply don't have enough stock in ECC, so as Alexander mentioned, the right thing to do is look for the root cause. Probably you have one or more corresponding entries in SMQ2 with GR that could not be posted. But there are many other possible reasons: maybe it is not a GR, but a posting changes that was not posted in ECC. To find the issue can take from minutes to days and is ideally done by a power user or consultant that knows the business. Especially if somebody had the bad idea of deleting a queue in SMQ2, then you will have to compare material movements in EWM and ECC and see which one/s is/are missing.

/SCWM/ERP_STOCKCHECK will not help you in this case. Even if you use the report to correct stock in ECC, you will have two problems:

1. You would be correcting stock in ECC with movement type 712 (inventory correction), which is probably not correct (most likely you are missing a 101).
2. You would be setting the stock in ECC to the level you have in EWM after posting GI the outbound delivery. What you need is to have the stock in the level it was in EWM before posting GI.

Of course to answer your literal question "How can we let this queue to pass into ecc" is easy: allow negative stock in ECC. But I seriously doubt that it is a good idea in a productive environment 😉

Find and execute queue wiht GR this stock. If not, you can use tr. /SCWM/ERP_STOCKCHECK in EWM.
