Modification of Table T522G to include Title "Dr."

Hi,

I have modified Table T522G in Config in DEV to add the title "Dr" and generated a transport to QAS. However, the "Title" field in IT0002 does not display the "Dr" title both in DEV and QAS. What am I not doing right?

Chris

    Hi ,

If you are mentioned about field P0002-TITEL, the F4 help value is stored in T535N.

Through t-code sm30, enter table T522G, activate the "Customizing" button, and then in the Pop-up screen asking you to choose a customizing project, activate the "Continue w/o Specifying Project" button.

The resulting display should transfer you to the appropriate IMG Node (or give you a list of appropriate Nodes)

P.S.: You can also use t-code se16n to look at the current content of that Table.

    Dear Rémi,

My Table T522G actually has the entry Dr. but it still does not show on the drop down menu in the Title field in IT0001.

    • Since I don't see a "Title" field, in what field of IT0002 do you want the "title" to appear?

Set your cursor in that field and get it's Table Name and Field Name (Dynpro Field) by activating F1 and then F9 (or the Technical Information button).

If you are referring to the "Form of addr", the "Designation" or the "Suffix" field?

You may also want to check the configuration of your IT0002 (through the IMG).

    The field: “Form of address”

    • The Form of Address should be in Table T522G, accessible through the IMG (t-code = spro) under:

Personnel Management > Personnel Administration > Personal Data > Personal Data > Create forms of address

Make sure that you Log-in in the same Language as the Users will, make the change and save it in a Transport.

If the entry already exists in your DEVelopment environment (as confirmed through se16n), mark it in the Table and use the following Menu option "Table View > Transport" to include that line in a Transport.

Once the Form of Address "Dr." will be in a transport, test it through pa30. If your test is successful, release your transport and ask your Basis team to apply the transport to the Quality And Test environment.

    Hi.

As this conversation is rather old my comment might not help. But as I just found out, I would like to share it with you.

If the entry in this table has not the key '1' or '2' the text will not be displayed in the list. The entry will be represented blank. This is hard coded like this in the include MP000240.

I found out in relation to creating the third gender option for the it0002.

    Best regards.

    • Hi Gudny,

I encountered same issue too after I added gender key '3', the title is not displayed as the country is in the list of country check_molga.

      Any idea to manipulate this?

      Best regards,

      Mandy
