Technical and functional of CRM

Im new to CRM, i want to know both technical as well as functional.

Can anyone help me.

Basically im a technical consultant. So, require more info from technical point of view.

One please don't cross-post the same question twice here. That's the first duty of a CRM technical consultant.

Second as a CRM technical consultant the basic areas of focus are:

ABAP - ABAP OO

BSP

CRM Data Model - business partner, transaction, products

Basic understanding of CRM business processes

CRM middleware

If you are a member of ASUG I'm presenting a session at the ASUG virtual education summit in September that will be a good starting point from the CRM technical side. I'm also going to make a wiki version of presentation materials available on SCN within the next month.
