Number Range

Dear Experts,

I make new Material type and I want my Number Range logic should be (EBAA 001 009 ) this type means alphanumaric first two digit EB constant and next two digit also will be charcter and other six digit will be numaric and no body can make the numaric or charcter code full.Please solve the problem.

In this case u have to go for External number range in transection code MMNR

Hi Pooja,

This can be done with the help of Abaper.

Using the concept of Enhancement this can be done. An Abaper can fix the first two digit like EB with this concept.

Like if you enter the Number as 123456 ...automatically the system will take the EB before the Number.

But for this too the external number check should be allowed in MMNR.

Hi,

Go to MMNR create the new series of number range and mark it as external and then go to group and assign the number renge to your material type
