using web service on a document template

Hello All,

I have actually created a webservice (based on BOL relations) .THis webservice is to be used to build a document template.But, one of the attributes returned by the service is an internal table. I am not sure if internal tables can be returned from webservices. Can anyone please advise.

Tables in document templates are no problem, not for Word and not for Adobe PDF.

When you create a new document template (either Word or PDF) you have to link the WSDL/XML to the template. At that time you can drag and drop the XML/WDSL fields on the template. When you drag-and-drop a XML node that represents a table, Word or Adobe is smart enough to model it as a table in the template.
