Batch Classification

Hi

I am working on Batch Classification Scenario.

I am creating a Process order at that time I dont want a Batch number to be created, while I do Goods receipt of the Process order(in confirmation) I need to define the batch number based on the Characteristics I have defined in the material master.

Can you let me know the configuration settings for the above.

Hi,

You can disable the Batch Creation in Process Order with T Code CORW. Select the Production Scheduler Profile and plant there and in Aut. batch creat. select No Batch creation.

Now goto SPRO --> Logistics General --> Batch Management --> Creation of new Batches --> Define Batch Creation for Goods Movement, select 101 Movement type and select the required option. however this should be there by default.

Once you diable batch creation in Process order, you will get the batch at time of GR and classification window will pop-up there.

Check & Revert.

As Rohit has suggest deactivate Auto Batch Creation at the time of order creation or release in CORY or CORW.
