SNC SMI Detail Screen behaviour when Saving.

We have maintained a time bucket profile that is -30 days + 180 days. When users are in the SMI Detail screen and they click on SAVE, the screen is reloaded and the screen is positioned back to the Initial bucket. How do we prevent the screen from jumping back to initial column, instead remaining in the same position? Or how do we position the screen to current date, without modifying the time bucket profile?

We also are having a hard time getting the screen to perform how we'd like it.

We also would like the screen to show in weekly buckets and go back 4 wks and ahead 36 wks.

The other question is how do I set that up for EVERYONE to have the same initial default layout
