Created PR through WO > PR field cannot be changed Text, Price, QTY

Hello,

We create automatic PR through WO. Occasionally we get non-stock items that we need create PR's for. In our case we create work orders and under the components tab we select material from "Material Type "(ZLAG"). The text becomes defaulted because the material is in our material master and we still input the price and qty. The issue is when the WO order is saved and the PR becomes created the text, qty, and price cannot be changed anyfurther leaving our CAP department troubled. Any suggestion to have the PR be modifiedable other than created a PR from scratch referencing a WO (me51n)

HI,

please read the note 30316: Problems with fields that are not ready for input in, which shows how to see which field selection keys are been checked and there you should check that all fields are set as "optional" and all should be checked (make sure that you have flagged all of them in all selection keys).

if you are not able to solve it alone, please open a ticket at SAP so that an expert can have a look at your system
