0EMPLOYEE_ATTR extractor load is getting failed

Hello Experts,

I'm trying to extract the data for 0EMPLOYEE_ATTR from R/3 to BI. No data is getting extracted and at the same time job also not getting finished even after 2 days over. I did run RSA3 checker for this extractor and its getting runtime error due to time out after 10 to 15 mins. Seems like the problem is not with BI side but R/3 itself. I could extract all other Master data inclduing 0EMPLOYEE_TEXT without any problem. May I please know the solution for this problem? Is there anyway to load 0EMPLOYEE_ATTR into BI?

try reactivating datasource and then replication extracting data. May help

Just chk if there is any enhancemnet done for this datasource and some code is written because of which its giving time out error....

Mansi, thx for your response. But unfortunately there was no enhancement been made on this data source. Is there any other way to debug this problem?

You, or your Basis people, could put a SQL Trace (tcode ST05) to determine where the issue may lie. Typically, if an extractor is executing that long, it's because the SQL is doing full table scans and indexing on specific columns are needed to resolve that issue.

Yes, I did confirm that its due to volume of the data in R/3 for this datasource. I had to restrict the data with some selection criteria in BI side and it worked fine. Thanks for your inputs.
