Cost Center determination during payroll posting - Eroor

Hi,

When I was posting payroll the system throwed following erroe messages. we need the cost center to be picked from employee master. the cost center ans business area are assigned in employee master Organizational Assignment but system is not b\picking the same during payroll posting. need your help ASAP.

Message no. 3G209 - Account assignment objects are incorrect. No substitution is possible.

Message no. KI091 - No substitute cost center maintained (we want cost center to be picked from employee master)

Message no. GLT2201 - Balancing field "Business Area" in line item 001 not filled (the business area is assigned in employee master what more settings r required)

Hi,

essage no. 3G209 - Account assignment objects are incorrect. No substitution is possible.

Explanations: This error is generally due to conflict in deriving the cost objects. For eg: through business area combination u may be deriving one cost center and might have assigned different costcenter which have different business area assigned to it. Change the business area/cost center to the uniform ones.

Message no. KI091 - No substitute cost center maintained (we want cost center to be picked from employee master)

Explanations: If above error is solved, this will go off.

Message no. GLT2201 - Balancing field "Business Area" in line item 001 not filled (the business area is assigned in employee master what more settings r required)

Explanations: This error is due to the document splitting functionality of NEW GL. U have activated business area as mandatory and zero balance in u r settings. However for this posting system is unable to derive any business area for ur line item 001.

Revisit u r asignments in employee master. It seems u assgined conflicting objects as explained above. U also check u r infotype for cost distribution in HR.

the error message is clearing saying , the issue is with Substitution.

Did u check that?

If not, pl check in tcode OBBH.

Hi,

we haven't defined any substitution in OBBH and we want the system to pick the cost center from employee master. please guide me what are requirements other than maiantaining cost center in employee master
