Material Master creation

Hi,

I need to set up a material master for certain costs. Could anyone let me know the things I need to consider while creating the material in terms of industry sector, material type, material group etc.

To Creat Material Master record for certain price,You Can define Price Control Procedure in Accounting 1 view,you can also define it as default in Configuration of Material Type,If Price Control is S,then Material unit price is Calculated as per standard price you have mention in Accounting 1 view,If Price Control is V...Then Material unit price is Calculated as per Moving avg price you have mention.

Maintain the Industry sector, material type and material group as per your requirement or as per your configuration.

Please select Basic data, purchasing view and accounting view while creating material master.

You can maintain the price in Accounting view.

Hi,

First select your inductry sector and then select the material type. Plz note we have differnt material type so select the type according to you requirment . All the material master views are depend on material type.

Hi

You can create service type material (DIEN) for service costs. I dont think cost wise material type creation will exist. You can set up different material groups depending on type of cost (say transport etc)

Create the material with Material type as FERT for finished goods and ROH for raw material. select industry sector as per u r industry . Assign the cost in accounting view.
