Email Notification to Approver

HI Experts,

When ever the SC is created.Mail is not generating to the repective approver.

i have scheduled the report RSWUWFMLEC.i have maintained the attribute FORWARD_WI=X IN ORG STRUCUTRE.

when i checked in SOST send request are in status" waiting".Each of them are having different status.

Cannot process message, no route from SUBRAM to SUBRAM atxxxxxx.com

in the last colum message number is 672

Hi,

Go to transcation SCOT, double click green SMTP text , in the pop up window , under Supported Address Types click Set button against Internet and specify the mailid of users there to which mails has to trigger and from which the mails are triggering or give * if you want to trigger mails to all approvers.

Hi anubhav,

if i give * will the mails go to approver who is in my hierarchy itself or else to all the approvers who are eligibile for approving the SC.

Is this setting a one time activity or else do i need to maintain every time

Hi,

after the settings they are turned in to Error. Do i need to miantain a valid address for the user who is sending(BATCHBGD-who is a system user)

Hello,

As you can view the mail in transaction SOST, problem should be related to SCOT setup, you will find the resolution in below links.
