HI,

I am extending the standard Idoc for DEBMAS01. I am creating new Z idoc with one custom segment added to it.

I wanted to know do i need to create copy standard FM to add logic for my custome segment or is there any BADI or Enhancemnt for the standard FM "Idoc_input_debitor". Also for the custom segment details, i need to update the table. I am using ECC6 system.

Let me know regardin this.

I could see the FM exit EXIT_SAPLVV02_001 is available, try to populate the custom segments here... Why do you want to update the table for custom segment?..

Basically for our monitoring interface, we are populating idoc no, status, customer number and fileds of custom segment.

can i put logic for the same in the exit?

Yes, you can do that, but I am not sure the IDOC status is the right one the exit point.. Do check that....
