Hi, all can i use ie4n without material and serial no. And how we can define work centre shift

Just one addition to above...Goods movements are always related to material number or serial number.

IE4N is PM specific transaction code. It works only with Equipment No. + Material no + Serial No. combination.

Remember, system doesn't recognize equipment no. when you move the material to stores. Therefore serial no. is must for IE4N.

Hi,

Work center shift can be maintained as follows:

Go to transaction IR02.

Enter the workcenter for which shifts are to maintained.

Go to tab Capacities.

Go to pushbutton capacities (At bottom left).

Click on intervals and shifts push button.(At top left)

Here in as shown at application bar add shifts & add intervals and maintain the same as per your requirement.

Hi. Thanx for valuble input.can i use ie4n for 311 movement type. Or any other than consumption related movement type. If yes, how. Thanx in advance

I am not sure but I think we can not use 311 for IE4N and any other movement type which is not related to consumption.

No you can not use IE4N without material and serial number.

This transaction is used for equipment dismantling or installing with goods movement and for which material number & serial number is must.
