The role and responsibilities of enduser in SAP . What skills the enduser should have to do that job ?

he shd be knowling the Process of certain activities in SAP ERP like Performing Persoonel actions maintaing the Data master of the employees , checking of the reports when ever the managment needs and this will be applicable to time managment and pay roll also

if it is time management than check with Quota generation , leave management and if it is pay roll Processing the salary for the employess and executeing some reports which were requiement to higher manager

this process may not be same for all the projects it may change as per the Configuration setting made for that project

2) Whether the enduser has to maintain all the modules like HR,FI,MM,SD........

Generally the if the company is going for sap implementation the higher managment will slect some employees as core team . end user at beging of the stage it self ....... so for each module there will be person assigned to that

>end will be given a intese traing by the consultants in order to know the process

The responsibilities of End User is to maintain the system from the data perspective. Such as data maintenance, perform transaction. It's much more easier than the IT/Consultant responsibilities.

Hi Chandu,

There are some standard reports for Payroll which has to be taken after every payroll run.

You can find them under Human Resources --> Payroll --> Asia/Pacific --> India --> Subsequent Activites --> Here you can find reports for periodwise, annual reports and also for quartely also.

Hi chandu,

the reports are of two kinds,

1) Standard reports which are inbuilt and included in the functionality of SAP itself.

2) Z reports which are not there in Standard Sap and we as consultants do the Impact analysis of and then after reaching a consensus on the requirement we ask the ABAP Professional to develop the same using ABAP language.

You can access standard SAP Reports also from

SAP Menu >> Human resource >> Payroll>>Asia/pacific>>India>>Info System.

The same will be divided into various sub parts like Employee, Organisational Entity, Wage Type, Pay Day Etc for various kinds of reporting.
