Transfer stock vaule of material from one profit center to another one

Hello All experts,

in our system (SAP 470) there're some materials which need to change the profit center in their master data. these materials still have stock values. after change the profict center, we want transfer the stock of old profit center to the new profit center.

is there any way to do that?

Hi

When you check profit center accounting then total stock of material you can see in profit center which is assigned in material master. You can transfer the stock to a dummymaterial and then change the profit center in material master and then reverse the earlier entry. Same you can do with issuing the material to a cost center and then changing the profit center, reversing the earlier entry.

Sorry....there is no way to transfer the stock of old profit center to the new profit center.

You can transfer the stock from one material to another material...etc.
